January and February are the best time to take a leap into that career or new position you’ve been desiring. These are two of the most critical months to begin your job search. Companies have received their new first quarter budgets and sales forecasts. Companies can now afford to hire new employees.
Remember to send your resume/cover letter (don’t forget to update your LinkedIn profile) to as many companies as you can and do initial follow-ups. The first of the year is always a great time to start searching because job boards are up-to-date and have numerous amounts of open positions, which are just waiting to be filled.
